In chapter 1 Peter is giving the early church their new identity in Christ Jesus and in verse 13 he says "therefore." Therefore, this is how we live, and we will see the three final lessons from this are:
1. Knowledge of who you are gives knowledge into how you conduct yourself.
2. Knowledge of who you are gives knowledge of what we hope for.
3. Knowledge of who you are gives knowledge of Whose you are.
