Giving to the local church is one way we commit to what God is doing locally. Our regular giving is what enables hundreds of kids and students to hear the Gospel each year, the word of God to be taught each Sunday, and people all over the world to experience the love of Jesus.

Exciting news: we’ve moved from Rock to Subsplash Giving! Giving will be easier than ever and the church will save money. During this transition, a couple of quick and easy changes will need to take place.

If you have been faithfully giving automatically you will need to be sure to turn off your old recurring gift in Rock. Then create your new recurring gift through the Subsplash Giving Portal below.

Giving Questions

The Bible has a lot to say about giving in both Old and New Testaments. It is a part of our worship and thanksgiving to God. As a reflection of our heart we are putting God first when we present Him with our firstfruits. Jesus says in Matthew 6:21

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

The Apostle Paul teaches in 2 Corinthians 9:7:

“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

A tithe translates to “tenth” and when we commit to follow Jesus it’s our way of giving back to God. We believe that everything we have comes from God and we can trust him to provide for us. By giving 10% of our income we commit to making what God is doing more important in our lives than material comfort. See also (Gen 14:19-20, Gen 28:20-22, Mathew 23:23, Numbers 18:26)

All tithes are considered “General Giving” at Kingsburg Community Church. General Giving is what allows us to accomplish God’s mission for KCC of pouring into the next generation (kids and students), worshiping and teaching his Word each week, and joining his local and global work of spreading the love and grace of Jesus. The first tenth of all general giving is set aside to support our global partners.
