In this series we are exploring what it means to be a multigenerational church, how it is part of God’s vision for his church, how it is a beautiful expression of God’s kingdom on earth, and yet how it poses difficulties to unity. Being multigenerational means being able to work alongside people who are different than you. It means seeking to serve rather than to be served. It means that we are all on board with the mission and moving forward together. God desires us to have intergenerational unity and cooperation. In Acts 2:17 we see the Spirit of God working simultaneously with three generations. We recognize that we need each generation. We will miss out on how the Spirit is moving and working when we are lacking a generation being represented here.
