Overview
Ponderosa, Hume Lake's camp for high school students, is an incredible place to get away from the busyness and distractions that students face on a daily basis and spend time away at camp. At Ponderosa this summer, students will hear the Gospel preached, be challenged through scripture, engage in awesome worship through music, and get some time - both alone and with our group - to process what God did in their lives during their week at camp. They'll get to be part of Hume's high energy recreation every morning, and action-packed afternoons and evenings; this includes, but is not limited to, playing in the mud, running the Gauntlet and dominating in Kajabe Kan Kan. If they allow Him, the Lord can use a week at Ponderosa to change their lives forever. We look forward to a new experience this summer!
Financial Assistance
We know camp is expensive so we want to help offset the cost. There are two ways to lower cost:
- Fireworks Booth
We have a fireworks booth in the Savemart parking lot from June 28-July 4. You (or anyone 18+) can work a 2-hour shift and earn a $75 scholarship. You may sign up for as many shifts as you need to make camp affordable. - Campership
Hume Lake has a scholarship you can apply for. They award scholarships based off need.
